Paradoxical Quote of The Day From
Ben Stein:
"Fathom the hypocrisy of a government
that requires every citizen to prove they
are insured... but not everyone must
prove they are a citizen." Now add this,
"Many of those who refuse, or are unable,
to prove they are citizens will receive
free insurance paid for by those who are
forced to buy insurance because they are
citizens."
Think about it when you vote
Put me in charge . . .

Put me in charge of food stamps.
I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just
money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all
the powdered milk you can haul away.

If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs,
alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings.

If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and
piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing.
Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a
clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to
inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried.

If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own
place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week
or
you will report to a "government" job.
It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public
housing, whatever we find for you.

We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting
stereo and speakers and put that money toward the common good.

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of
the above is voluntary.
If you want our money, accept our rules.
Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self
esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone
else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and
lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at
least
attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system
rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND while you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE!
Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You
will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a
Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

The democracy
will cease to exist
when you take
away from those
who are willing to
work and give to
those who would
not.

If you don't know GOD, don't make
stupid remarks!!!!!!
A United States Marine was taking
some college courses between
assignments.
He had completed 20 missions in
Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the
courses had a professor who was
an avowed atheist, and a member
of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class
when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated,
"GOD, if you are real, then I want you to
knock me off this platform... I'll give you
exactly 15 minutes."
The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a
pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the
professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm
still waiting."
It got down to the last couple of minutes
when the Marine got out of his chair, went up
to the professor, and cold-cocked him;
knocking him off the platform. The professor
was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat
there, silently.
The other students were shocked and
stunned, and sat there looking on in silence.
The professor eventually came to, noticeably
shaken, looked at the Marine and asked,
"What in the world is the matter with you?
Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied,
"GOD was too busy today
protecting America's
soldiers who are protecting
your right to say stupid
stuff and act like an idiot.
So He sent me."
The classroom erupted in
cheers!
